- Think of areas where your colleagues, teams or you have focused on operational efficiency or cost-cutting: has this been done well? Have you achieved efficiency, or have the cost-cutting exercises worked as intended? Can you share examples of good or bad instances of operational efficiency.
- Develop a plan for a matrix team project: choose an area that needs attention in your organisation (eg reader revenue, native advertising), write a simple plan illustrating the problem and what needs to be done by whom, and then pick the people you would choose to work on it. Add in a meeting frequency schedule and outcomes for extra bonus points!
